Casting Workshop

I found the casting workshop really beneficial for the colab project, plaster is an effective modelling material which could come in useful.. I chose to create a similar curved shape to the Bear Ravine structure and experiemented with a few techniques to see what affects could be made.

 

 

Chipping away the plaster once set gave a nice corroded look to the surface, the rods gave the impression of the metal structure beneath.
