Ive learnt the clear definition between a Jpeg and Tiff file..
Tiff- is saved as a much larger file with all its information contained, making it easier to reopen and edit in software such as photoshop...the image is kept at its optimum quality. So can be blown up and printed to a huge scale whilst retaining a crisp image.
Jpeg- Is a compressed photo file made up of pixels, so when blown up for print is pixilated. A jpeg isnt easliy worked upon and saved as a much smaller file for storage.
The following photos are experimental shots taken of my casting piece to establish lighting and focus.
