Dudley Archives

We visited the archives in dudley to gain a little research and background knowledge into the history of the zoo and Lubetkin.

The main thing i wanted to gain from visiting the archives was to hopefully view some original design drawings and blueprints of the Bear Ravine. There were some available of the cafe and restaurant which were incredible to see but extremely fragile and although the archives had more blueprints, most likely of the structure we're looking at, they werent in a suitable state to be viewed. Its a shame as looking at those drawings would have related very much to my ideas and work.

Although i did find some useful and inciteful artiles from 1930's papers, which could help my project..

I also gained some useful knowledge on how to search and find the particular archives i was after, this information will maybe prove beneficial with future research.
